Hi Chloe, welcome to CHIFA,

Very interested to learn more about your work in youth mental health systems, formerly in Canada and it seems you recently moved to Italy?

'My work focuses on implementing evidence-based programs that prioritise efficacy and community voice, from leading Ontario’s $1.8M Early Intervention Services at Youth Wellness Hubs to launching Montreal’s Aire ouverte initiative and scaling pan-Canadian networks like ACCESS Open Minds.'

For the former, I read from LinkedIn that 'YWHO works in partnership with young people to help improve Ontario’s mental health and substance use supports for youth and young adults by providing rapid access to easily identifiable mental health and substance use services with walk-in, low-barrier services, and clear service pathways'. It would be interesting to see how lessons learned can be applied in other settings. Are youth mental health workers well networked globally?

"Whether managing cross-sector teams, translating research into action, or advocating for ethical AI in healthcare, I’m driven by a simple goal: ensuring young people have meaningful access to care that works for them."

This aligns closely with the HIFA/CHIFA mission. Our focus is on reliable information and knowledge, but the ultimate goal is to ensure that everyone has access to evidence-informed care.

Given that you are fluent in French, I invite you also to join HIFA-French: www.hifa.org/join as well as our sister forum HIFA (English)

Best wishes, Neil
