Join us next week for Patient Solidarity Day 2025
This year’s Patient Solidarity Day [https://www.iapo.org.uk/patient-solidarity-day] will be celebrated on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, and will be a powerful opportunity to unite and spotlight the vital role of social participation in healthcare - we'd love for you to take part!
It will be an opportunity for us to stand together to champion the importance of meaningful engagement of patients and people with lived experience in health governance, following the launch of IAPO’s Global Patient Charter on Social Participation [https://www.iapo.org.uk/node/15739].
As part of our campaign, we are inviting all to endorse the Charter [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdcshtwYdci2mzHcm-IhENk9hdhm2Cn... in order to amplify its reach far and wide.

Find out more about the Charter
A landmark initiative launched at IAPO’s 11th Global Patients Congress in Manila [https://www.iapo.org.uk/global-patients-congress] on 16 November 2025, this practical advocacy tool [https://www.iapo.org.uk/node/15739] has been designed to help patient organisations in engaging governments and promoting locally rooted and context-sensitive social participation.
Developed over several months through the collective input of more than 35 IAPO members and an advisory group of over 20 health experts, including WHO representatives, the Charter offers concrete benchmarks for what meaningful social participation should look like [https://www.iapo.org.uk/node/15739].
We look forward to celebrating Patient Solidarity Day 2025 with you!
