On the state of drug use amongst the in-school adolescents, and how to prevent teenagers/youths on the initiation to drug use, in the USA, and currently working in a special needs high school close to five years on the east coast, there are systems in place, the students are taught during health education, science, and life skills classes as stated the adopted county curriculum, but the students assigned therapist are responsible for the in-depth counselling of students, parents, and care-givers on drug awareness, if need be, and also responsible for referrals for specialized care.
