Dear Global Patient Safety Community:
On September 16, in honor of World Patient Safety Day, the World Patients Alliance will host a global webinar, "Safe Care for Life: A global call for action for safer NCD care". Irina Papieva of the World Health Organization will be joined by Bill Wang of the International Society of Nephrology and panelists Emma Doble of the BMJ, Gloria Ekeng of Stroke Care International, and Ashok Gupta of Allergy Care India to discuss the WHO campaign and patient-centered solutions to help people with NCDs navigate the unique challenges they face in the health system.
More information and free registration are available on the WPA website at https://www.worldpatientsalliance.org/world-patient-safety-day-2026/glob....
WPA has also created a free online toolkit to help promote and celebrate World Patient Safety Day. The toolkit includes a 10-day campaign calendar with social media images and captions for every day from Sept 8 to September 17; printable World Patient Safety Day awareness posters with multiple messages; and customizable WPSD event banners in various sizes. The complete toolkit can be found on the WPA website at https://www.worldpatientsalliance.org/world-patient-safety-day-2026/soci....
Please join us in celebrating World Patient Safety Day 2026!
Kind regards,
Helen
