"The UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) invites applications from LMIC-based institutions for up to two implementation research projects, each funded up to US$ 50 000 over 12 months, to generate evidence on the adoption, integration, and impact of digital health tools addressing infectious diseases of poverty, focusing on real-world use, health system integration, and outcomes such as equity and acceptability, with a preference for tools supporting patients, community members, or frontline health workers and aligned with open standards, emphasizing thematic areas like antimicrobial resistance, epidemics, and neglected tropical diseases, and requiring ethical approval and institutional support for research-focused proposals submitted by 15 October 2026."
