
Emmanuel Benyeogor is a Nigerian public health professional and epidemiologist with a strong commitment to advancing healthcare information access and equity. He is a Country Representative and served as a member of the HIFA Social Media Working Group from 2015 to 2023, where he contributed to expanding HIFA’s reach and impact, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
Emmanuel holds an MSc in Public Health (Epidemiology) from the University of Lagos and is completing a Doctor of Public Health degree at Nagasaki University, Japan. He is currently an Impact Fellow with the Planetary Health Alliance, where he supports the development of regional hubs and strengthens partnerships across geographies to address climate and health challenges.
His professional interests include health systems strengthening, nature-based solutions for public health, antimicrobial resistance, and knowledge translation. Emmanuel has a decade of experience in public health emergency response, research, and stakeholder engagement, and is passionate about bridging the science-policy-practice divide for resilient health systems.
