Gladson Vaghela earned his medical degree (MBBS) from Gujarat University, India. Following his graduation, he served as a Junior Resident Doctor in the Department of Psychiatry at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot. He is currently reading for an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford, supported by a scholarship awarded by the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development at Somerville College.
