The Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network (EPN) is an international Christian, not-for-profit faith based health network whose mission is to support Churches and Church Health Systems provide and promote just and compassionate quality pharmaceutical services. It comprises of institutions, individuals and partners committed to its mission of supporting the provision of quality, affordable medicines and pharmaceutical services in church health facilities (What about the DSOs and Associate members?). The majority of these members are Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) that provide healthcare to communities in the most marginalized and remote areas where national government health services are limited. EPN network constitutes of a total of 141 members in 38 countries: 32 Christian Health Associations (CHAs), 24 Health Systems Strengthening organizations, 18 Church Health Institutions (CHIs), 21 Drug Supply Organizations and 46 Individuals. Our strategic focus areas are Pharmaceutical Systems Strengthening, Training and Capacity Building, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance and Donor and partner sustainability which are governed/ strengthened by advocacy, research and communications. In line with these program areas are our health priorities that include Health priorities are Maternal child health, Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection, prevention and control, Neglected Tropical Diseases and Communicable and Non-Communicable diseases.
