Announcing New Emergency Care Videos (2)

21 March, 2026

Dear Deborah,

Thank you for sharing these latest videos from Global Health Media Project.

https://www.hifa.org/dgroups-rss/announcing-new-emergency-care-videos

I have just wached the snake bite video. I have left a message on the site: "Congratulations for such a clear and simple video. About 100 people die every day due to snakebite. The video shows what to do - basic healthcare information that saves lives."

It should be watched by everone, from schoolchildren to parents to health workers. 4 minutes to explain the basics.

Videos like this are arguably more effective in saving lives than any other type of health communication, including academic journals, press releases, textbooks...

Best wishes, Neil
