[Re: https://www.hifa.org/dgroups-rss/announcing-new-emergency-care-videos-2 ]
Dear HIFA members ...
Neil's comments should be well received by everyone who is involved with health literacy as a means to improved health.
And Deborah Van Dyke's 'Global Health Media' should be received with resounding applause, for her site once again shows the leadership it has maintained in health literacy for many years.
Many of the videos that Global Health Media has produced over the years have multiple languages available.
There are many topics covered and all are eminently very useful for health professionals who are front line providers.
The videos can be used as CPD for those who wish to upgrade their skill sets, but also, very importantly, can be used to educate patients ... at the facility level or in homes & villages.
I hope our members will take a look at the snake bite video, but also use this opportunity to review all the other very well done educational offerings of Global Health Media.
Cheers,
Mickey Rostoker
