'Dean Ted Ruger invites you to the 2022 Leon C. and June W. Holt Lecture in International Law given by World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who will speak on a recent consensus decision aimed at protecting the world from future infectious disease crises. The World Health Assembly has kickstarted a global process to draft and negotiate a convention, agreement or other international instrument under the Constitution of the World Health Organization to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness and response.

Following his talk, Dr. Tedros will be joined by Dean Antonia Villarruel of Penn's Nursing School, Professor Eric Feldman, Penn Law's Deputy Dean for International Programs and Betha Igbinosun, SJD candidate whose research focuses on health policy in sub-Saharan Africa.'
