Crowdsourcing for Hepatitis Advocacy and Public Engagement

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in collaboration with the World Hepatitis Alliance have announced a side event on Crowdsourcing for Hepatitis Advocacy and Public Engagement during the World Hepatitis Summit.

This satellite meeting will highlight and discuss some of the NOhep hepatitis advocacy messages identified through a global open call [https://www.nohep.org/stories/] and also celebrate some compelling civil society groups that are contributing to national and regional efforts towards hepatitis elimination. In addition, there will be presentations from selected open call finalists and a panel discussion with policy makers on hepatitis advocacy (program agenda here [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mDunM3vEVI_44uyDQfrGdGr00NH6OwIS/edi...).

Dr Julie N Reza

HIFA profile: Julie N Reza is a UK-based specialist in communications for biosciences, global health & international development (www.globalbiomedia.co.uk). She predominantly works with NGOs and not-for-profit organisations. Previously she was the senior science editor at TDR, based at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva; prior to this she worked at the Wellcome Trust, UK, leading educational projects on international health topics including trypanosomiasis and trachoma. She has a PhD in immunology and a specialist degree in science communication. She also has several years research and postgraduate teaching experience.
