Effect of US government action on health information (8) HIV patients in the States

19 February, 2025

Extraction from an article: that has been puboshed in JAMA: "Despite restoring the pages as ordered, the Trump administration discredits the information they contain. At least 2 of the previously missing pages — “HIV and Transgender People” [ https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/data-research/facts-stats/transgender-people.html ] and “HIV in the US by Race and Ethnicity” [ https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/data-research/facts-stats/race-ethnicity.html ] — that had been restored by February 15 bore a new banner. “This page does not reflect biological reality and therefore the Administration and this Department rejects it,” the banner reads in part."
