Dear HIFA Members,
My name is Ashwathy Sunilkumar, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree at the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID), where I expect to graduate this September.
I am a lawyer by training from India and worked in the legal field before moving to Switzerland to pursue my Master’s degree. During my time in Geneva, I have also developed my professional interest in communications. I previously worked in communications at the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), where I gained experience in communications and social media.
I am particularly interested in how effective communication can contribute to greater access to reliable and relevant healthcare information. This is one of the reasons I am very happy to join HIFA and be part of a community working towards universal access to healthcare information.
I look forward to learning from the experiences and perspectives of members around the world and contributing to the discussions.
