A recording of this week's member webinar on AI in Health Information is now online.

The webinar was an opportunity to look at the potential uses of artificial intelligence (AI) in health information. Speakers explored the potential benefits, risks and governance frameworks required.

The expert panel included:

- Sue Turner OBE – Founding Director, AI Governance

- Prof Svenja Adolphs – Professor of English Language and Linguistics, University of Nottingham

- Julie Smith – Content Director, EIDO

- Vishaal Virani - Head of Health, YouTube UK & Ireland

We are now planning to issue a position statement on AI in the new year. This will be followed by more detailed guidance later in 2024.

Any members interested in helping shape our position statement should email klair.bird@pifonline.org.uk.
