HIFA profile: Enock Musungwini is a public health and policy specialist, health management consultant and development practitioner with more than 20 years working experience covering broad public health, disability, health systems strengthening, VMMC, sexual and reproductive health, family planning, health insurance and health regulation and compliancy. He holds an MSc Public Health degree from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), UK, Masters in Business Administration, BSc Hons Psychology, Diploma in Nursing Science and Postgraduate Certificate in Health Management and Leadership. Works as an Independent Health and Management Consultant covering Zimbabwe and the UK. Currently sits on the Reference Group committee of Africa Evidence Network, is a member of the Steering committee for INGSA Africa and an Alumni Ambassador for London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He previously served on the World Health Organisation Zimbabwe WISN Steering committee (2014-15) and Zim-SADC Parliamentary forum Technical Working group on Gender and Family planning (2016-17). Enock is a member of the Royal Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, Development Practitioners Network of Zimbabwe, and Africa Disability Research Alliance. During his studies in the UK, Enock served as Student Ambassador for Royal Society for Tropical and Hygiene and LSHTM (2018-19). He received the LSHTM Amanda Jaclyn Berger price for his MSc research, JCI Zimbabwe 2019 Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Zimbabwe in Personal Improvement category, Zimbabwe Achievers Awards UK Chairman’s award and British Foreign and Commonwealth Chevening Volunteers Gold award (2019) and is a Chevening Alumni.
