Dear HIFA Forum,
I'm a student from Maine, United States.
Over 3 years ago I did a petition/time capsule to highlight the issues we are having with patient safety at my hospital (but it really is a problem across my state/country). I know the problem in my state is a global problem, so the petition/time capsule is to let future generations know that there were people who cared even to try to do something even though the powers that be ignored it.
Here is my petition: Petition · Patient Safety in Maine Matters - United States · Change.org
https://www.change.org/p/good-healthcare-workers-need-your-help
Here is a news story from today about the patient safety movement in my state:
Nurses from Maine Medical Center and Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center to hold press conference for patient safety | National Nurses United
https://www.nationalnursesunited.org/press/nurses-at-maine-medical-cente...
I would appreciate anyone on the forum taking a few seconds out of their day to sign the petition. They never responded to the petition and they want us to go away but that isn't our plan.
All the best!
