Is the reliability of Google Translate now adequate for the translation of medical journals? (3)

Dr. [Najeeb Al-Shorbaji, Jordan] Nice to hear from you again.

From my hands-on-English > Kiswahii and Kiswahili > English translation spanning over one decade, whether we like it or not, face to face personal input of a certified linguist in doing translation is indispensable in that computerised translation programmes lack the socio-linguistic familiarity most prevalent among grassroots language users. Likewise, not every first

language speaker and/or user can do thorough professional translation work.

Best regards Sir!
