Hi Neil, thanks for sharing about the financial situation and I am sorry to learn this. HIFA plays a very important role. It would be very unfortunate indeed if it ceased operations due to financial constraints. I was also wondering about further sources of funding. For example, many of us are probably aware of medRxiv - they are funded in part by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI): http://connect.medrxiv.org/news/2020/06/18/czi_funds_medrxiv

If someone in this community has the connection, it might be worthwhile to explore support from CZI under the Open Science program: https://chanzuckerberg.com/science/programs-resources/open-science/

The potential financial support would not be for the immediate need at this stage but more for the long-term.
