WHO has announced an 'Open call: What will shape the future of sexual and reproductive health and rights?'

The call asks three questions:
1. What is one issue, trend, innovation, or disruption that SRHR stakeholders should be preparing for but are not paying enough attention to?
2. In your experience, what are the most important questions about sexual and reproductive health and rights that research has not yet answered?
3. What other important considerations should we take into account in analyzing future trends that may shape or constrain SRHR over the next decade?
The questions are asked in the context of a static online survey. Each respondent is invited to go to the survey and submit their responses.
Static online surveys are limited in what they can achieve because there is no opportunity for dynamic interaction.
Communities of practice like HIFA would argue that static surveys can usefully be complemented by dynamic online conversations.
The above questions would make a good basis for discussion on a reproductive health network such as IBPNetwork, a HIFA Project (hifa.org/projects) or a HIFA Spotlight (hifa.org/spotlights).
For future consultations, we invite everyone to consider inclusion of an online discussion element. This has the potential to add valuable insights that may not emerge with static surveys alone.
