Victoria Adepoju

Dr Victoria Adepoju (Dr Vickie) is a physician, maternal health advocate, sexual reproductive health rights activist, social entrepreneur and tech enthusiast. She is the Medical Director of Gift Clinics, Hospitals and Medical Services and the Executive Director of the African Development and Empowerment Foundation. Having spent more than a dozen years passionately providing and expanding access to quality healthcare for women and newborns, Dr Vickie is also an active advocate for sexual reproductive health rights. She works with local communities and trains medical doctors and other healthcare service providers at various levels with the aim of deploying a multi-pronged approach toward reducing maternal mortality and enthroning equity in healthcare. She is also a medical researcher with several scientific publications already. She has won several awards including Mandela Washington Fellowship. She is currently studying Masters in Social Work at the University of Wolverhampton, UK.
