I am Shamima Parvin Lasker, an Anatomist, Bioethicist, andJournal Editor. Of my 38 years of teaching career, I have worked as Professor and Head of Anatomy since 2007.
I am the Founding Chairman and General Secretary of the Bangladesh Bioethics Society [ https://www.bioethics.org.bd/ ]. I worked as a Consultant of bioethics for UNESCO and FAO, respectively.
I am occupied with an international professional organization. e.g. President of the Asian Bioethics Association (ABA), Vice President of APAME, and served as the Treasurer of WAME. I also served as Member Secretary of the Bangladesh Scholarly Medical Journal Editors (BSMJE).
My research interests in Anatomy, Bioethics, Medical ethics, Research ethics, publication ethics, Myocardial disarray, and Public Health
