Survey for health workers in humanitarian settings

12 December, 2025

Dear Neil,

I’m a Global Health PhD student, at the Global Health Academy, University of Edinburgh, and my Supervisor, Prof Liz Grant, advised that I contact you to ask if you would consider sharing details of a survey relating to palliative care in LMIC humanitarian settings we are currently undertaking. I’ve pasted this below and would be so grateful if you would consider sharing with colleagues/health workers as we are so keen to circulate this as widely as possible. Thanks so much for considering this, Michelle

Dear Neil,

I am undertaking research at the University of Edinburgh to explore the views/learning needs of health workers in low-middle income country humanitarian settings in relation to palliative care, and we would be very grateful if you would consider sharing this email/information with your colleagues/networks/distribution lists/newsletters etc.

We would like to invite you to complete our 15–20-minute online survey, and welcome participation from all health workers, including those with no prior experience in palliative care.

You can access the survey from the link or QR code [*see note below] below, which also provides further information in relation to the survey and what is involved:

Thank you so much for considering this,

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email me: m.r.mcgannan@sms.ed.ac.uk<mailto:m.r.mcgannan@sms.ed.ac.uk>
