HIFA congratulates Jackeline Alger as she receives the award of Honduras Physician of the Year 2019.
In a message to HIFA and other supporters she writes:
"The joy associated with the appointment as Physician of the Year 2019 has been crowned by the numerous expressions of affection that have in various ways been sent to me by colleagues, family and friends. I have received messages from teachers, fellow students, current students and those who are already career professionals, co-workers, co-workers from international groups. Thank you so much to each and every one!"

Jackeline Alger works in the Parasitology Service, Department of Clinical Laboratories, Hospital Escuela Universitario, and at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She is a Country Representative for HIFA and CHIFA and is the two-times holder of HIFA Country Representative of the Year Award 2015 and 2018.
