MEERA is a women’s organisation; its activities are based on women and gender. Its major initiatives are focused on Women Empowerment, Water and the Environment, Natural Resource Management, Education, Community Health, HIV/AIDS Prevention, TB Control and Care, Child Survival, Maternal and Newborn Child Health, Reducing Abortion Stigmas, Ending Child Marriage, and Eradicating Child Labour. Centre for Communities Education and Youth Development

The Centre for Communities Education and Youth Development (CCEYD) is a community based non-governmental organization established in the year 2001 in the Northern Region of Ghana. CCEYD is formed to remedy the situation of ignorance which results into ill-health, unemployment, streetism and poverty among the children, youth, women, and girl-child in particular. The capacity of the youth will be built to better understand their environment and take action to develop their conditions.

'We are an international group of Rheumatologists working to provide medical training and access to Rheumatologis care in countries where there is a great need... Our mission is to improve access to rheumatology services for people all over the world. To achieve this, we will raise funds to facilitate training of rheumatologists and health care professionals in countries where there is a need. By creating partnerships between organizations in underserved countries and those with the resources to help, we will facilitate rheumatology training to health care providers.'
